Tasting note:
Nose: Characterized by an intense bouquet of ripe red fruit (marasca cherry, pugna, currant), black cherry and raspberry jam, nutmeg and chocolate.
Palate: Full, round, with great body and structure, long, warm, persistent and powerful on the palate. The astringency due to the tannins and the acidity are in perfect balance with the alcohol content, contributing to the general harmony and great pleasure of this wine.

The recommended pairing is with braised meats, stews, roasts and game, but it also goes well with cured meats and seasoned and aged cheeses.
