Tasting Note:
Deep, dark ruby/black color is almost opaque. Intense earthy aromas overlay dark, rich prune, plum, damson & bullace fruit with meaty notes, truffle & mushroom. On the palate ripe plum, prune & black-cherries overlay truffle & mushroom flavors. Chocolatey-smooth with fine, supple tannins. Hints of cinnamon & black liquorice combine on the mid-palate. The soft acidity enlivens the fruit & warming alcohol rounds out a long, smooth, earthy finish.
