Tasting Notes:
The wine has a medium intensity of darkly pigmented purple-red color. Aromas are brooding & meaty over restrained red-fruit. The palate has a restrained dark fruit that sits behind firm tight tannins. The palate is savory & dominated by toasty graphite notes. The structure currently dries out the mid-palate. Fresh acidity makes the wine quite angular & the alcohol is balanced. At present the palate is short & drying, the wine will need time to open.
