Tasting Note:
Nose: It is clear straw yellow with light golden highlights. This Chardonnay has aromas of pome fruit (apples, pears, quinces), citrus fruits, white flowers and a little nutmeg melt in the bouquet with the delicately integrated oak spice and a hint of vanilla flavor.
Palate: The partial fermentation and maturity in French oak barrels on the palate a round, smooth feeling of fullness, perfectly balanced with the clear grape fruit and lively freshness of the Chardonnay, very juicy, seductive, deep and full-bodied with an elegant length in the finale.
Food Pairing:
Roasted turkey and rosemary stuffing, chicken cordon bleu, stuffed Dover sole, and fettuccine Alfredo.
