Topsoil of humous loess loam over yellow calcareous marl gives this Chardonnay particular power, grandeur and remarkable elegance. Cream and vanilla blossom show on the nose, with a hint of lemon zest and white pepper. Supple yet dense on the palate, with fine citrus fruit and a touch of white currants alongside white pepper — exceptionally compact, complex and long, already offering finesse, delicate fruit and spice, with real potential to continue evolving.
