Colour: Deep ruby red with mauve highlights.
Bouquet: Rich, quite powerful, a certain concentration mixing berries (blackcurrant, currant, blackberry, cherry stone), toasted woody notes, some peppery and leather notes.
Palate: Rich, a tannic chew well supported by an almost velvet structure. Complex flavors first fruity then spicy, animal. Very nice length.
Food Pairing: Perfectly accompanies veal chops with pan-fried forest mushrooms, red meats, game and strong, mature Burgundian cheeses.
