Country: Australia
Grape Varietal: Fiano
Tasting Note:
Harvested in the early morning to preserve freshness, the fruit was pressed cool and fermented in stainless steel, retained on light lees post-ferment to build texture. Bottled early to capture purity and precision. In the glass, Lucius is pale straw with green glints. Aromas of citrus blossom, white pear and fresh herbs rise gracefully, framed by faint kafir lime and beach stones. The palate is structured and elegant, lemon pith and a hint of lime, underpinned by a subtle saline edge and a pure, linear acidity. A whisper of texture, thanks to time on lees, adds depth, but never at the cost of brightness.
Food Pairing: Seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, salads, light pasta, roast chicken.
